Re: Educate The Masses
As he walked Nol nearly tripped over something while in thought, this surprised him greatly as he was supposed to be alert of course, especially in times where he could be jumped by more of those monster like creatures. But what he tripped over was a small book, it looked out of place in this forest like setting and even he old cover and warn out pages didn't scream that it was very old.

Picking it up it looked like an average composition book, the black and white king you write journal entries in and maybe the occasional short story. He should know as he had his students writing about any and everything, just to keep their minds sharp and so they wont fall asleep in class. But oddly enough that plan tends to get the opposite effect as it makes nearly everyone in his class pass out for a nap.

Re: Educate The Masses
Nol decided to take the book with him, but he couldn't help but read what was inside, amazingly enough it had information on the heartless but with the hand writing of a child. Who ever was writing this made it like a journal but a sort of research journal too, but he didn't complain about the bad hand writing, it had some really in depth information on Heartless and other worlds as well.

Re: Educate The Masses
The concept of other worlds was something he hadn't gotten yet, he hadn't studied quantum physics or even regular space time theory. But when the book described traveling between worlds on something called a 'gummi ship' he couldn't help but laugh at this. It was a mix between cute innocent charm and nearly deadly information about the creatures he's fought one on one.

Re: Educate The Masses
Though the information in this small book seemed very very far fetched he chose to believe it, it was better than going into thing somewhat blind as he had been aside form the small amounts of information he had already known about the Heartless. However he did wonder who made this book, but as he flipped threw the pages to look for a name nothing was mentioned, not even another name besides the creatures and places this person visited.

Re: Educate The Masses
Just as he was about to get relaxed he hear a rustle in the bushes almost all around him now, placing the book in his bag he looked around frantically. It seemed that he was surrounded, and when one...two...5 heartless came from the bushes he began to get a bit antsy at what to do. Getting into his mock stance once again he prepared to take the little imps down a peg.

Re: Educate The Masses
Watching them jump all at once to attack him it left little room to really do much but try his best as he grabbed two form the air and flung them into a tree near by. The others latched onto him, clawing at him as he took one and slammed it into the ground, beginning to stomp on it violently as he plucked the others and threw them in random directions as well. The one he was stomping however didn't last very long as it varnished away into dark wisps soon enough.

Re: Educate The Masses
Watching the other four get up he grabbed a large branch form the ground, raising it up he slammed it down onto one of the creatures heads. Using his foot to keep it from moving as he repeated this twice before it vanished away, though this left him partially open as one bit down on his leg causing him to wince in pain. Taking this moment to swat away one leaping at him with the branch, ultimately breaking it he jumped and landed strait down on the biting Heartless, making it flail around as he did it once more to make it vanish away.

Re: Educate The Masses
Seeing that only two were left he was a little tired but he had trained enough to know when his limits were, waiting for them too attack he saw them both aim to scratch him with a leap. Stopping both of there attacks with his palm and griping their tiny hands he soon slammed them into a tree, holding them still as he brutally struck them again and again. Though it seemed out of place to be so viscous in his attack it was his fighting style and was surprisingly effective as they both vanished away but not with a sigh. "I should really lay down now..." He said as he felt really tired, working all day didn't help with this little ambush event.

Checking his body he seemed fairly alright, just a few cuts and scrapes as well as some light bruises dotted aorund his skin. He would really need to patch himself up with band aids now, and he was actually tempted to go and head deeper into the forest but he knew this was far enough, he didn't want to end up getting jumped again and ultimately hurt even more than he already has.

Re: Educate The Masses
Taking out the small book he acquired not to long ago he wondered about who ever left this thing here and if they were alright. Especially so since he just got jumped in the same location he found the book, taking a moment to call out, "Hello? is anyone here?" He received no answered as he guessed, all he could hope for was the best, of course that sounded realy optimistic.

Dusting off his clothes he began heading back, but he marked where he left off at on this path by setting up a few small stones. He could head back her tomorrow maybe, that or when he didn't feel like he just got ruffed up by a couple of aggressive migits. Laughing to himself at his insight joke he headed out, simply enjoying the walk back but he made sure to keep his wits about him as he went along.

Re: Educate The Masses
It was becoming later now, seeing that the sun was starting to set he could say he had been walking about and just searching around the outer limits of the city for about an hour now. He didn't find out much but he found the means to find out more things, of course this included way more information than he wanted about heartless. The kind that involved up close and personal "conversation" rather than seeing them from far away.

Heading back into town when it was around 6:00 now he could see only a few people traveling together, heading home or just heading to the sale they were having at the local shops. He was meaning to buy something other than a simple tub of ice-cream, but if he couldn't catch a sale or nothing caught his eye then he would just go home to rest, and really that was what he really needed.

Re: Educate The Masses
Entering his house and dropping his bag on the floor he gave another deep sigh, he wasn't so young so actions like that wore on his body, especially after a 6 hour day of school and teaching students and not to mention another hour of grading papers. Right now he was looking forward to sleep but he took the book he found with him, wishing to learn about and examine a few things about other worlds and things of that nature.

Re: Educate The Masses
After a short time of patching up his small cuts and marks he relaxed on his bed, flipping threw the book as he began to read it in depth. First he looked at what was a gummi ship, it seemed like a customizable flying space ship that could go into other worlds no problem, well...not with out encountering interference from odd flying creatures and things which he found resembled an old arcade shooter....well, by the crudely drawn picture that is.

Re: Educate The Masses
Next was the mention of using the gummi ship to visit other worlds, in this reality it was a no brainier that other worlds existed, however very few people know how to get to those places. And even though people tried to use science to prove things there was very little science and more so just 'magic' which was hard for him to believe as an adult but he could very much feel and see small imp creatures trying to kill him he could believe in flying magical ships and other worlds.

Re: Educate The Masses
Turning a page it wasn't just that, the worlds had a cartoon like feel to them, they even had adaptations of stories he's heard about in this world which was even more so amazing. A little silly but he had no choice to accept it for now, especially so since he couldn't go there yet and see for himself but the book interested him and made him actually want to go there himself to see if it was all true.

Places like the pride lands where it seemed that the writer was turned into an animal on arrival, and places like Atlantis, an old legend that he thought wasn't real but it seemed very real to the writer as he was turned into a mermaid. All of it sounded like a kids fairy tail but really he was a kid at heart, and his sense of wonder didn't waver over the years of studying and just placement into science and work.

Re: Educate The Masses
Finishing up a few pages of the book he felt himself growing tired, he wanted to read more but he also knew his body needed lots of rest for tonight. After all tonight he was heading out and seeing more of the forest during the night time, this would be a lot more dangerous but he believed he could handle a few simple heartless by himself even if he would be going out in a time where they would all be very much prevalent.

Re: Educate The Masses
Heading to bed now he turned off his light and started to drift off to sleep, he kept the boo under his pillow as if hiding a diary form his big sister which he did at one point as a kid but he tried to stay away from those thoughts. After all he was 27 years old, no longer a kid but at least not old enough to keep his imagination from turning into a non-existent thing, or a grape that shrivels away into a raisin over time.

Re: Educate The Masses
It was around midnight that he woke up once again, a bit groggy at first as he placed on his glasses form the side stand and soon put on all his clothes. He debated taking the book with him and even thinking about not going on this night run as he knew he would run into some pretty fiendish creatures along the way but he wanted to now more. And if this was the only way to do it then he would gladly sign up for a night of a little fighting.

Warming up his body he got ready for what he might have to face out side in the night time air, his' fighting style should keep him remotely safe and his skill in battle should also keep any unsavory people from trying anything funny as he stretched his body. With the book he found in his side bag with a flash light, and finally an umbrella, the new's did mention that it would rain early in the morning.

Re: Educate The Masses
As soon as he stepped outside everything already had that 'this is probably a bad idea' written all over the buildings and pavement as it was unnaturally dark and the moon was up as well as the lamps and lights were on yet dim too. Trying to get threw the plaza he could feel that odd presence of some kind of creature as if it were stalking him and really he was ready for what ever it might be as he seemed to take up a combat ready stance.
