Methods of Transport

Due to events in the distant past, the worlds of the universe are separated and disconnected. Travel was all but impossible except through a small number of ways. Each group has their own methods, and all of them come with a certain degree of risk, but through these methods, the worlds are no longer so distant from eachother.

For Marked Keyblader wielders, the method of travel amongst the stars is through their Keyblade Glider. By transforming their Keyblade into a viable method of transportation, having the vague appearance of rather unexpected vehicles, such as bikes, skateboards, or scooters. With these gliders, they traverse from one world to the next with ease. Be warned, though, without your Keyblade Armor you will fall victim to the ever-present dark influences and lose yourself in the shadows.

For Unmarked Keyblade wielders, until a certain rank, and for Regulars, the primary method of transport is through the use of a Gummi Ship. Despite its delicious sounding name, it is not engineered by Candy Land Inc, and is instead made of a special material capable of withstanding the dark influences of the space between worlds and safely allowing a small group to go from point A to B.

For Nobodies, Heartless, and practitioners of the Darkness, the only, and fastest means of transport is through the use of Dark Portals. Be warned, however, that for Nobodies and Dark-Aligned users, they must continually shield themselves from the Darkness or be consumed by it for eternity. Heartless need not fear this effect due to the fact that they are beings of Darkness themselves.

There are several garments allowing for protection from the dark influences. Garments such as the black cloak of the Organization, or the Keyblade Armor of the Masters are examples of this. While difficult to procure such garments, the safety of the user is ensured still, so long as they remain intact.
