Following the Book

Re: Following the Book
The inside of the building was as he probably expected empty and very dark, his flash light was the only thing that helped him see everything. It had a large foyer area and a few statues along the sides near the stairs, aside form this it was fairly dusty and looked like the place could use some remodeling. On second thought it could use a lot of remodeling as he noticed the broken furniture and just bad placement of things.

Re: Following the Book
Going into the center of the room he continued to examine things, his flash light shining over the broken remains of a table as well as the rusted statutes that were falling apart. He didn't notice anything out of the ordinary just yet but he knew better than to let his guard down in a place like this, if this place was causing heartless to appear in some way then he was sure that they would pop up again.

Re: Following the Book
But he didn't stick around to find out, checking the left room he saw he was in a small dinning room, the table was broken down the middle and spider webs were nearly everywhere. It looked like this are hadn't been used in years, and he could be right about that but there was something out fo place about this area. Taking out the book it seemed to react again to the table as he went over and looked under it.

Re: Following the Book
Under the table he seemed to find a marker of some sort, it was a small key card however had no real letter or words on it. It was gray in color and just seemed out of place as its brand new covering had the crest of some sort. This crest he saw a few times before, the crest resembled the ones he saw many of the heartless he battled at one point have but he didn't understand what it meant.

Re: Following the Book
But for now he would place it away, he really didn't wish to activate something bad and end up having to fight another hoard of Heartless once again. Looking aorund the room once more he didn't find anything else unfortunately, but he was sure to keep looking under the shattered remains of the old wooden table for more clues however he found nothing of use.

Re: Following the Book
Leaving the room after he didn't find anything he went back into the foyer, only to be greeted by what seemed to be a weird shaped room that was well lighted and didn't seem to have anything in it. Turning off his flash light he didn't know if this was an illusion or some kind of trick but by the looks of things this was not apart of the main building.

Re: Following the Book
Not even having much time to do anything something was soon summoned inside of the room, it was another heartless, surprise surprise, however this one was weird. It was humanoid and moved in a weird way, as if it were a snake or something, it waved side to side and seemed to have no structure about it except it looked like a full body silver jump suit and had an aloof manner about it.

Re: Following the Book
Getting ready to fight it he focused on the way it moved, it was with no hesitation and was as fluid as water which made him wonder about attacking it. But his carefree attitude didn't really make him think twice as he tired to strike at it only for it to twist to one side and make him totally miss it. However it didn't just stop at making Nol look foolish in attacking it up also tripped him as he stumbled a bit.

Re: Following the Book
Getting up this creature might not be as easy to attack as it waved around nearly everywhere and every time he attempted to strike it it either counter and struck him in the back or he just hit air, or both. Getting tired of this he simply feinted that he would strike it, causing it to evade once more but he grabbed it with his free hand, holding onto it with a firm grip.

Re: Following the Book
Not even thinking about his next move he began to spin in place, trashing he creature up against the wall each time he made a full spin, however he didn't stop at just hitting and smacking it against a simple wall he wnated it to be gone forever. Soon arching the thing up he slammed it down onto the ground with a very hard thud, actually making it burst away into a black and purple like energy right on impact as he panted slightly.

Re: Following the Book
As soon as the heartless was beaten it seemed the room was beginning to change back to normal, or its original shape and form. The broken table in the middle of the foyer once again showing up as the dark room encompassed everything yet again, but something was different. Looking at the broken table again he saw a small piece of paper as he turned on his flash light and walked over to see what it was.

Re: Following the Book
What it was was simple instructions written on the side of the paper, stating "Ship blue prints" while on the other side was something that resembled a gummi ship, something he already read about. If this was the blue prints to build one then maybe he could find someone to help him build one, that way he could visit the other worlds he read about.

Re: Following the Book
"Hm, I see, so this is just blue prints to build one...I cant say it doesn't look like something I would love driving threw space and time in with out feeling somewhat scared about it breaking into small blocks. But I guess I can go for it" Seeing a number on the bottom of the paper as well as an address for where to actually see someone about building it he placed it away for now.

Re: Following the Book
Glancing at his watch he could keep exploring for a few more hours however it was very late and after about fights he was starting to feel the burn. Though he did use cure on his small wounds and injuries he still had most of his stamina trained at this point form the multiple encounters, it felt like he would have to keep fighting if he wanted to go ahead too by the looks of it.

Re: Following the Book
Deciding to take the high road and not try to battle threw another few hoards of creatures that might pop up if he kept exploring and ending up being swamped tired after it was all over he went to the front door to get out of the large abandoned house. However as he walked the book reacted to him trying to leave once again, taking it out to see what was its problem this time.

Re: Following the Book
What it was reacting to this time was a door in the upper level of the building, leading him upstairs he went along with it and gave a brisk run up the steps and into the next room. This time ti was an extensive and very large library, the number of books here seemed to go well above any personal library he's been too or even seen, it made him wonder who collected all of them.

Re: Following the Book
Though the library was pretty big and probably had a ton of knowledge of different subjects related to everything this world might have to offer the book he had lead him to the desk that was near the end of the room. Walking over he checked the deck for anything important, all he found so far was dust, more cobwebs and what looked like a small key which didn't seem to go to any normal door he's ever seen.

Re: Following the Book
The key was green yet had silver coloring along the sides, it looked fairly new and by this he could more or less guess that this was placed here not to long ago. It also meant someone must've been here for a small amount of time or might even still be here, but he didn't have the time to simply pull out books looking for some secret room or something.

Re: Following the Book
But he did take a few books form the library, specifically ones labeled "magicka" and things of that nature, keeping them in his side bag as he began to leave the room and now the building as he had enough exploring for now. It was too late at night and it was starting to become morning, though he didn't have much to do in the morning but sleep he also had a job to do later on so that was important.

Re: Following the Book
Heading back form the 'haunted house' or what he would describe as a simple abandoned mansion, he kept his wits about him as he opened the front door and passed threw the court yard. Heading out he watched as the gates seemed to close and lock behind him but he didn't pay much mind to it, after all he guessed this place was pretty special but he didn't wish to go into detail about learning now.
